Scrutiny, withdrawal, date of election and timing of voting

  • The nomination papers will be taken up for scrutiny at 11.00 a.m
    on the 25th April, 2009 at Deputy Commissioner Office Building,
    Sector -17, Chandigarh.
  • The notice of withdrawal of candidature may be delivered either by a
    candidate or by any of his proposers or his election agent who has
    been authorized in writing by the candidate to deliver it to either of
    the officers specified in paragraph (2) above in their office before
    3.00 p.m on the 27th April, 2009.
  • In the event of the election being contested, the poll will be taken
    on 13th May, 2009 between the hours of 7.00 a.m and 5.00 p.m.
