15 candidates in fray for Chandigarh seat

After the scrutiny of papers, finally 15 candidates (including 9 independents) are left in fray for the lone seat of Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency. The elections in Chandigarh are scheduled for 13th May 2009 and the timings are from 7 am to 5pm. The candidates are as under:

Satya Pal Jain (BJP),
Pawan Kumar Bansal (INC),
Harmohan Dhawan (BSP),
Haffiz Anwar Ul Haq (RJD).
Goswami Vishwa Bhushan (JD (U)),
Paras Nath, (Apna Dal).

Independents:

Ajay Goyal,Kafil Ahmad, Khem Lal Bansal,
Darshan Singh, Des Raj, Maya Devi,
Ram Pal Hans, Vijay Setia and S.K. Suri
