Congress party, Union finance ministry guilty for galloping prices, miseries of common man: Jain

BJP candidate for Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency Mr Satya Pal Jain today said Congress lead UPA government is now on its last legs and its departure is clear as writing on the wall. Addressing various meetings and large gatherings during his padyatra this morning he said that on coming into power of the BJP government at the centre Chandigarh will get flyovers, metro and all other facilities to make it a world class city. He assured voters that BJP government at the centre will provide adequate funds for the development of Chandigarh and will not offer excuses. 

During his padyatra of Burail village this morning Mr Jain said those who represented Chandigarh in the parliament for 15 year asked for votes in the name of development but did not fulfil their promises in spite of having become minister at the centre and are making promises even now. He said on coming to power at the centre BJP will address the problems of all sections of the people including the employee, labourer, small farmer and the small entrepreneur. He blamed the Congress party and Union finance ministry for the galloping prices and miseries of the common man.

During his padyatra Mr Jain was accorded warm welcome with flowers and tilak at several places. He was assured full support by a large number of citizens and groups. During a campaign stop in Industrial area office bearers and members of Paint Dealers association promised full support to him. In a lunch time interaction with the employees in sector 17 Mr Jain listened to the problems of employees and was assured of full support by the leaders and members of trade unions.

He assured people that all decisions relating to Chandigarh will be taken after getting opinion of the people of Chandigarh . He said it was misfortunate that opinion people of Chandigarh was not given any role in affairs of the city. The Local MP and union minister of state was only dishing out excuses and blaming others for his failures. Mr Jain said people have seen the real face of the Congress party and leadership and will teach the party a lesson.

Those who joined him during the padyatra and various meetings in the day included M/s Ramesh Nikku, Deep Chand Yadav, Jagdish Bajaj, Dharam Veer Narad, Dharamvir, Pradeep Bansal, B C Puri, Dr Vikram Yadav, Gurpreet Dhillon, Amit Malhotra and Sachin Lahotia among several others
