Shiv Sena Bal Thakrey declares full support to Satya Pal Jain,

Traditional BJP supporter party Shiv Sena Bal Thakrey today came out with a declaration of full support to Mr Satya Pal Jain of the BJP. Addressing a joint press conference with Mr Jain Mr Virender Bajaj President of Chandigarh unit of Shiv Sena Bal Thakrey today said BJP and shiv Sena are parties bound by the same nationalistic ideology and our alliance is unbreakable. He said the entire unit of Shiv Sena – workers and leaders – will do all to ensure victory of Mr Jain. State BJP president Mrs Kamla Sharma, General Secretary Mr Sanjay Tandon and Mr Satya Pal Jain expressed gratitude to the Shiv Sena workers and leaders for their support. Shiv Sena office bearers present on this occasion included M/s Cahanjit Singh Raja, Rajesh Mahajan, Secretary Arun Gupta, Sonu Gupta, Deepak Pathak, Lalit Kumar, Rohit Parti, Kundan Parmar, Atul Jain and Rajesh Bhatti.

Hundreds of members of Shia Muslim community joined BJP in a massive minorities convention organised in Dhanas village here. Senior Shia community leaders Shamshad Haider, Zaheer Abbas and Mehdi Hasan met Mr Satya Pal Jain with Maulana Kasim convenor of BJP minorities cell, its General Secretary Mumtaj Ahmad and Haji Mohammad Khursheed. These leaders and hundreds of their followers announced their decision to join BJP and assured Mr Jain that impressed by nationalistic policies of BJP this time a large number of members of Muslim community will vote for him. Mr Jain thanked the members and leaders of Shia community for their support and assured them that BJP treats members of all communities in uniform manner and does not discriminate with anybody on the basis religion.

Hundreds of members of Yuva Shakti Welfare Association also declared support for the BJP candidate in a function held in the Chandigarh state BJP office here in the presence of senior BJP leaders and handed a letter of support to them. Leaders of the association Mr Ravi Sharma and Mr Anwar Ali said all members of the association will campaign for Mr Jain.

Subramanian Swamy to campaign for Jain on Wednesday

President of Janata Party and former union minister Dr Subraminan Swami will campaign for Mr Satya Pal Jain, candidate of the BJP for Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency on Wednesday May 6. Dr Swami will address a press conference at 3.30 PM, will interact with intelligentsia at 5.00 PM in Law Bhawan Sector 37 and will address a public rally in Maloya Madrasi colony at 6.00 PM according to a BJP spokesman.
