Sub: Memorandum against Senior Congress leaders and for registration of criminal case.

Dear Sir,

We were shocked to know that a senior congress leader, Shri Devinder Babla in the presence of Sh. Pawan Bansal, Congress candidate and others openly used not only abusive and threatening language against Sh. Satya Pal Jain, BJP candidate and Shri Anil Dubey, Area Councilor at a public meeting held at Mauli Jagran on 4.5.2009 but they also dared them to Mauli Jagran.

It has been also reported in the media that he has also threatened both the BJP leaders openly and has used filthy and derogatory remarks. The entire report alongwith the CD has been sent by the Area SHO to the concerned authorities. The language used at the instance and instigation of Sh. Pawan Bansal, who was present in the meeting, is quite derogatory and threatening which can be verified from the CD itself. They are trying to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere for one or the other reason, which is evident from the previous actions as well. However only case under section 107/50 has been registered.

The matter is quite serious and it warrants appropriate strict legal action under various sections of the IPC viz. Sections 290, 294, 506, 107 and 120-B IPC for defamation, threatening and creating hatred among the two sections. We therefore demands that the criminal case may be registered against Shri Devinder Babla and other Congress leaders who were present and who have abetted and instigated him in using such derogatory and threatening language and they should be immediately arrested.

We also request you to kindly provide us the copy of the CD recorded by the local police or the Election Department.
