About Chandigarh Branch of Chartered Accountants Election Process

Chandigarh CA branch has more than 1000 members and Election of branch is held every three years. In each election term 8 members and selected and out of 8 winners, 4 are elected as chairman, vice chairman, secretary and treasurer

Each member has right to cast eight preferences. Voting is held in Chandigarh branch office in sector 35

This year it is expected to be held in February 2010

Chairman issued a notice for 3rd Feb.,2010 to discuss the election matter ( without Agenda of election notification)-
When ICAI Headquarter appoint ex office member to conduct election than branch managing committee automatically dissolved

So why chairman want to conduct meeting on 4th Feb.
Now all post of managing committees
Is caretaker type
