Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Polls – MC Polls Results 2016

Chandigarh MC elections concluded successfully on 18th December. In 26 wards polling was done successfully. All the voters and participants are interested to know about the results.

Around 57 percent voting has been recorded this time. 122 candidates are trying their luck this time out of which 67 are independent candidates.5,07,627 voters cast their votes this time including 2,37,374 female voters.

Live vote counting has been started early in the morning. BJP is in lead and they have already won in 15 wards out of 26 wards. out of 26 wards Congress won in 5 wards.  In 1 ward an independent candidate is in lead. Winners list will be made available in afternoon.
