Janata Dal (United) candidate Surinder Bhardwaj today released the party manifesto. Bhardwaj will file his nomination on March 22, his birthday. The party’s main poll plank is the “Mission Apna Chandigarh”: getting the status of a state for the UT. Bhardwaj also proposed the creation of Chandigarh Public Service Commission for recruiting the city youth directly to administrative posts.
